Milton Keynes Pipe Band

Currently have ten active pipers, a drum corp of two side drummers, one tenor and bass drummer. The band has progressed over the last few years with some encouraging results .We also play at many local events carnivals, shows, fetes and weddings.

Attention Pipers and Drummers

As a band we are always on the look out for new members particularly those with playing experience however will always be a need for new players for the future so inexperience isn't a barrier. There band has amongst it's ranks, very experienced pipers and drummers who are willing to teach on practice nights. These are Mondays and Thursdays evenings, so if you would like further information please contact the secretary.

Our aim

The aim of the band is to show continuous improvement and to this end we need to enter competitions. These events are staged all over England and Scotland and competing at competition level is expensive. By performing at local fee paying functions the income received helps us to achieve this aim.

These events also provide experience for the up and coming performers within the band. This gives them a goal to which they can aspire thus encouraging them to participate in all the bands activities.
