Welcome to the MKPB website, our band is currently seeing an upturn in its membership much of this is due to the WWW and hopefully this trend will continue as people have more access to the web. It is very encouraging for all concerned to have new members, and we are happy to accommodate experienced pipers drummers and dancers as well as novices of all ages. 

We have some very experienced pipers, drummers and dancers and would like to use this to bring on the other members to a standard where we could consider competing again. We try to keep our repertoire in tune with current trends, and therefore are always learning new tunes, which is challenging.

We play at a number of events each year, ranging from carnivals and fetes to Armistice Day and St Georges Day processions 

The key to the band is that it is a hobby, and we should enjoy coming to practice and also join in the social aspect. We have BBQs, Burns Suppers, Golf Matches etc and all members and their families are welcome to attend.
